Cellists from inaugural edition of Bach Cello Suites Workshop 2015
The first Bach Cello Suites Workshop took place August 2-8 at the Russell Sage College Campus in Troy New York. Workshop attendees each had a private lesson with the four superb faculty members: Zuill Bailey, Artistic Director, Bob Battey, Phoebe Carrai and Melissa Kraut. Cellists came from the Capital District of New York and from around the country: California, Arizona, Texas, Wisconsin, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, Massachusetts and from across the border in British Columbia. Friendships quickly formed and cello ensembles played in formal and informal settings around the campus. People say they want to come back! We'll be working on a 2016 edition. Stay tuned!
